Edwards Highlights Highlanders Match at Gardner-Webb

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Radford men's tennis program fell to conference foe Gardner-Webb 6-1 Wednesday afternoon with Evan Edwards highlighting the match with his three-set victory.
After Gardner-Webb secured the doubles point with wins on all three courts, in singles play the Runnin' Bulldogs built their 6-0 lead with wins on the top five courts. On court six, however, the newcomer Edwards was able to pick up his first Big South win. Edwards won it in comeback fashion after dropping the first set to win 4-6, 6-0, 1-0(7).
The Highlanders stick to conference play with the first home Big South match against UNC Asheville this Saturday, March 30th, at 2 p.m.
