Big South Names Abrams Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After helping lead Radford women's tennis to a victory in its season opener, Julia Abrams has been announced as the first Big South Player of the Week for the Highlanders in the 2025 season.

Abrams played a large role in the Highlanders season opener victory at George Mason Saturday night, clinching the doubles point on court one 6-2 and the match on court two singles 6(1)-7, 6-2, 1-0(4). The senior's efforts led Radford to its sixth season opener victory in the last seven seasons.

Abrams and the Highlanders will next be in action when they travel to face Liberty this weekend on February 8th at 11 a.m.
