Radford Announces Contract Extension for Head Women’s Golf Coach Jeff Beeler

RADFORD, Va. – Following a historic 2024-25 season, Radford University and women's golf head coach Jeff Beeler have agreed to a contract extension through the 2030 season.

"I'm incredibly thankful to President Danilowicz, Athletic Director Robert Lineburg and the entire athletic department for believing in me and giving me this opportunity," commented Beeler. "The success of this program is a testament to our student-athletes over the years and their success as well as all the great people I'm surrounded by in this New River community."

Beeler just completed his 17th season at the helm of the women's golf program in 2024-25, culminating most recently in guiding the Highlanders to their first Big South Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.

After advancing through stroke play and marking the program's highest-ever finish, the Highlanders would go on to defeat second-seed High Point and the top-seed Charleston Southern to claim their first-ever tournament title behind the play of Grace Addison, Caroline Gilreath, Hannah Lindemann, Shea Smith and Macy Johnson. Johnson would also go on to the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, just the fourth Highlander to ever earn the nod.

In his 17 total seasons guiding the program, Beeler has helped guide the Highlanders to 42 top-5 finishes in the regular season, four individual medalists, seven all-conference team members, three all-tournament team members, two Big South Scholar-Athletes of the Year, 18 Big South Golfers of the Week, and three program records for the 18-hole, 36-hole and 54-hole team score.
