A LOOK BACK
Whenever Radford and Longwood meet, fans are sure to view an electric battle between the two Virginia-based Big South squads. Earlier this season in the Dedmon Center it came down to the final shot and Del Jones delivered. The sophomore hit a layup in the closing seconds of the game that helped the team knock off the Lancers 85-83. Jones also led Radford's scoring efforts in the game with 25 points. Overall in the series history the Highlanders own an impressive 32-11 edge and have won four of the last five.

RECORD BREAKING SEASON
In Radford's last time out, the team used the three ball, not just to earn a win over USC Upstate, but set a new program record. The team has now combined for 288 threes this season, breaking the previous record of 285 set by the 2018-19 team. Radford's efforts from deep this season have been led by Jaylon Johnson (65), Dennis Parker Jr. (59), Lukas Walls (44), Del Jones (40) and Louie Jordan (31).

SCOUTING THE LANCERS
After being idle earlier this week, Longwood is looking to stay hot as winners of two of their last three games. It's been an exhilarating couple of weeks, though, as both of those wins came in overtime. The Lancers have won three of their conference games this season in extra time.

Longwood will bring a balanced attack effort that has four players all within the same scoring margins of each other. Confined to conference play, Elijah Tucker has been the most consistent threat averaging 13.4 ppg and 8.1 rpg against Big South foes. Redd Thompson Jr. will also be a name to watch after he dropped 22 points against Radford earlier this season.
