Andrew Waldman enters his first season with the Radford men’s basketball program as a Men’s Basketball Operations Specialist.
In his role, Waldman supports the program in a variety of areas, assisting with player development, team operations, video analysis and statistical breakdowns.
Prior to Radford, Waldman earned his master’s degree in Sports Business from New York University, where he also finished his collegiate playing career with the NYU men’s basketball program. Prior to suffering a hand injury in February, Waldman was leading the UAA in assist-to-turnover ratio and total offensive rebounds. He returned later in the season and helped the Violets earn an NCAA Tournament victory.
Before NYU, Waldman attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He was a three-year starter, two-time team captain and earned First Team All-SCIAC honors during his junior season.
A native of Miami, Florida, Waldman attended Palmer Trinity School, where he holds four school records: rebounds in a game, blocks in a game, field goal percentage in a season and career field goal percentage.
