Brett Gilbert is entering his third season at Radford after joining the men's basketball staff in June of 2018 as a graduate manager before being promoted to Director of Player Development in August 2020.
A graduate of Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania where he was a team captain on the men's basketball team, Gilbert has extensive working in basketball at both the youth and collegiate levels.
Most recently, he interned with the Lebanon Valley men's basketball team where he assisted with scouting reports, video breakdown and all day-to-day operations.
He has also spent time working camps for programs such as VCU, Rice, Mount St. Mary's and Albright College over the last two years. He's traveled around the country to attend EYBL and Hoop Group events and even served as Director of the brand new ABC Basketball Camp in Reading, Pa.
His writing skills may match his basketball skills as well following a stint as the LVC school newspaper's sports writer.
