Jack Raboin

Jack Raboin enters his second year as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Radford men's basketball program, a position he took over in September 2023. It is his third year in the New River Valley overall, as he served as the Director of Player Development for the Highlanders during the 2022-23 campaign.

"Jack has been an important part of our success," said head coach Darris Nichols. "He is very organized and has done a great job with our student-athletes. We are excited that he is with our basketball family."

In his current role, Raboin serves as the Swiss army knife behind the scenes for Radford. He provides the coaching staff in a variety of capacities to go with helping with the running of practices, travel accommodations for the team and providing support for scouting and recruiting, among other responsibilities for the program.

In his first year with the Highlanders in 2022-23, he proved to be a vital piece for a coaching staff that guided Radford to a 21-win season that included a pair of wins at the College Basketball Invitational (CBI).

Prior to Radford, Raboin served as the Director of Basketball Operations and then as the Assistant to the Head Coach at Eastern Illinois. There he aided head coach Marty Simmons in a variety of on-and-off the court tasks. During his time with the Panthers, Raboin was responsible for the scheduling of all team activities, which included travel, practice, academics and more. He also recorded and edited film and occasionally aided in recruiting and coaching in the absence of a full coaching staff.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Raboin played collegiate basketball over his four-year career. He began his playing days at Lake Land College, where he earned an associate's degree in psychology in 2018.

He then transferred to Saint Louis, where he was part of a Bilikens squad that won the 2018-19 Atlantic 10 championship and advanced to that year's NCAA Tournament. He was then named team captain for his final season in 2019-20.

A Mattoon, Illinois native, Raboin graduated from Saint Louis University with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2020 and is currently working towards a Master's of Organizational Leadership at SLU.
