Miller joined the Radford strength and conditioning staff in July 2026 as the Director of Basketball Performance. He will directly oversee the training and conditioning of Radford's men's and women's basketball programs.
Miller comes to the New River Valley after spending the last three years with West Texas A&M where he served as the Assistant Athletic Performance Coach. In his previous role, Miller directly aided the head athletic performance coaches while developing and implementing strength training programs for the men's soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, track and field, and softball programs. He attended games, practices, and coaching meetings to collaborate on weight room plans both in and off season. Miller also had direct oversight of the Buffs internship program and internship curriculum. With his help, West Texas A&M saw championships from the programs he coached every season including cross country, track and field and a men's basketball regular season and South Regional championship.
From early 2022 into 2023, Miller earned his first assistant strength position as an Athletic Performance Assistant at McKendree University. While in Lebanon, Ill., he directly aided head athletic performance coaches while developing plans for the men's soccer, women's soccer and baseball programs. Fresh out of college, Miller also began his career as a volunteer assistant at the University of Iowa in 2021, and as a professional intern with his alma mater SIU Edwardsville from 2017-21.
Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in 2019, and Master of Physiology in 2020 from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.
