Autumn Bishop is entering her second season with Radford and is in her first year as a volunteer after serving as an assistant coach for the 2021-22 season.
Bishop joins the Highlanders after a successful four-year career playing for Liberty. From 2017 to 2020, Bishop was the Flames' starting first baseman while amassing a large collection of awards. Bishop is a four-time first team all-conference selection, three-time VaSID all-state first team selection and a 2017 NFCA All-Mid-Atlantic region first team member.
During the 2017 and 2018 seasons when Liberty was still a part of the Big South, Bishop collected awards such as being a member of the 2017 all-freshman team and 2018 Tournament MVP. Bishop would finish her career with Liberty with the program record in doubles, walks, sacrifice flies and putouts while also holding the single season record for doubles and putouts. She currently ranks 10th all-time in Division I with 74 career doubles.
