Has made starts in three different positions throughout the 2015 season (17 at catcher, 11 at second base and 18 at designated player)…boasts a team best .980 fielding percentage, which she ranks 3^rd in RU history with a career percentage of .989…set a career high with 26 runs this season…third for Radford with nine multi-hit outings…had a six game hit streak and six game streak of reaching base...batted over .300 for first time in her career, hitting .303...career best 40 hits...went 10-11 swiping bags...named All-Big South Honorable Mention.


2014
Appeared in 34 contests and started half of those... Registered career-bests with eight runs, a double and six stolen bases... First collegiate double came in first at bat of the season at Charlotte (2/19)... Knocked in first career run with a RBI single against Longwood at Big South Tournament... Scored game-winning run in series clinching win at Winthrop (3/30)... Recorded two hits at Chattanooga and against then-No. 17 Missouri... Scored a pair of runs versus Maryland.

2013
Appeared in 43 games with 17 starts... Began season coming off the bench as a pinch runner or pinch hitter... A 2-for-3 (2 runs) performance in a start at Presbyterian (4/14) began a stretch of 13 starts in the last 18 games of the season, including the final 11 as the designated player (one at catcher)... Those two hits were the firsts of her collegiate career... Added a career-best 3-for-3 effort at Gardner-Webb (4/26) during a six-game hitting streak (8-18/.444)... Closed out season going 2-for-4 against Coastal Carolina in Big South Tournament... Scored Radford's first run of the season in season opener at then-No. 23 North Carolina... Crossed the dish with the game-winning run in 4-3 victory at Maryland.

PREP
2012 Region C and Hogoheegee District Player of the Year and first-team all state; Batted .583 with 50 runs, slugged .910 and recorded a .688 OBP... Owns VHSL career steals mark with 130 (first player in Virginia to swipe 100-plus bases)... Joe Preston Female Athlete of the Year, Bristol Herald Courier Catcher of the Year and was selected to the VHSCA and FCA All-Star Teams during her senior year... Helped HHS to three straight Group A State Championship game appearances (2010-12) and a 73-8 record... In four years, she batted .483 with 29 doubles, 25 triples, 77 RBI, 159 runs with a .573 on base .740 slugging percentage; Garnered several all-conference and all-region recognitions... Member of the National Honors Society and was the Holston HS Student Council President and co-valedictorian... Also a member of the cross country, track & field and cheerleading squads.

Full name is Megan Elizabeth Honaker... Nursing major... Accepted into RU's nursing program as a sophomore... Megan and younger sister Miranda are the daughters of Scott and Barbie Honaker... Earned an associate's degree from Virginia Highlands Community College while dual enrolled her senior year... Jason Witten SCORE Foundation scholarship recipient.
