Finished the season-opening weekend with a perfect 1-0 record at No. 2 singles and doubles. Mills and fellow classmate Stijn Meulemans defeated Cristian Cruz and Kristofer Martin of the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, 8-2. He followed that up with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Smallwood in singles.
