Pete Dye River Course
Nestled along 2.5 miles of the scenic and historic New River, The River Course was originally designed by Ault, Clark and Associates and opened in 1999. In 2002, the Virginia Tech Foundation acquired the property, recognizing its potential as a premier golf destination. With eight holes directly influenced by the river’s edge and panoramic views from nearly every fairway, the course quickly earned a reputation for its beauty and challenge. The occasional passing train only adds to the charm of this picturesque setting.
