CLINTON, S.C. - Sam Eastridge's early second half goal was all Presbyterian needed in a 1-0 win over Radford in Big South men's soccer on Saturday.
Eastridge received a corner kick from Lewis Makin in the 49th minute and his header from inside the box gave the Blue Hose the lead (2-7-0, 1-2-0 Big South).
Radford (2-4-1, 0-2-1) outshot Presbyterian 7-0 in the first half, but couldn't cash in. The Blue Hose fired 10 attempts to just two for the Highlanders in the second half.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Taylor (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) made five saves, all in the second half, for the Highlanders.
