GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Aimee Veatch (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring) of the Radford women's track and field team placed in the top-20 in the hammer throw Friday afternoon at Irwin Belk Track and Field Stadium.
Veatch finished 19th in the hammer throw at the NCAA East Regional with a distance of 55.19m (181'1”). She finished one spot ahead of what she was seeded going into the regional meet.
