BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Radford Track and Field teams will compete in the first of four meets in Blacksburg during the indoor season when it takes part in the Hokie Invitational Friday and Saturday at Rector Field House.
Radford makes the short trek to Blacksburg again on Feb. 17-18 for the Virginia Tech Challenge. On Feb. 24-25, Rector Field House will play host to the Big South Indoor Championships and the last meet will come on March 3 at the Virginia Tech Final Qualifier.
After a month off from competition due to winter break, the Radford athletes will get back on the blocks. Collectively, the opening meet at Liberty boasted 14 top-five finishes for the Highlanders.

Olinger also finished third in the 60m hurdles, just behind freshman Vincent Wyatt.
On the women's side, Caroline Ratterree notched a runner-up showing in the mile and Amber Church, last year's Big South Indoor Freshman of the Year, took fourth in the 60m hurdles.
In the 400, Diane Wesh crossed the finish line in fourth. Maggie Wissler and Shalonda Mitchell posted back-to-back showings (fourth and fifth) in the 800m.
