
11 ATHLETES QUALIFY FOR FINALS OF BIG SOUTH OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

RESULTS
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Radford's Brett Olinger took the top spot in his preliminary 400m hurdles race and 11 athletes qualified for the finals in their respective events after the second day of track and field action at the Big South Outdoor Championships on Friday.
Olinger's time of 53.63 was tops out of 13 competitors in the 400m hurdles. David Green will also compete in the finals due to his eighth-place time and PR of 55.80.
Coming in second place in the men's 110m hurdles was freshman Vincent Wyatt. Wyatt stopped the clock at 14.39 and garnered another Top-10 time in program history (6th). Wyatt will try for his fourth title this outdoor season.
Lakei Crews qualified for the finals of the 100m with an eighth-place performance of 12.27. On the men's side, Joseph Betts clocked a 10.88 and Allen Dooms also qualified for the finals with a time of 10.89. Betts finished sixth while Dooms charted an eighth-place showing.
Betts would later run a 21.47 in the 200m, good for sixth place and a spot in Saturday's final.
Racing to a second and third-place showing in the men's 400m prelims were Kaise White and Tehquin Warrick. White crossed the line in 48.43 and Warrick was close to a PR at 48.44.
Eric Graves also qualified for the 800m finals with his time of 1:55.81 and crossed in seventh place.
In the women's 100m hurdles, Courtni Pannell paved her way into the finals with a preliminary time of 14.48. She wrapped up the day in seventh place.
Travis Hudson took seventh in the high jump with a clearance of 1.91m / 6-03.25 and on the women's side, Nikki Roseberry garnered eighth place with a 1.55m / 5-01.00 height.
Sharee Fitzgerald added a point to Radford's team score with her eighth-place finish in the shot put. She recorded a toss of 12.53m / 41-01.50.
