2011-12 HIGHLIGHTS
Lowered his 400m time by 1.34 from season’s beginning to end… Began outdoor season with 51.06 time in the 400m at Weems Baskin Relays… Posted a personal-best 49.72 at the Big South Championships… Season-best finish came with fourth-place showing at the Winthrop Invitational… Gathered a pair of fifth-place showings at the Liberty Invitational and Carolina’s Cup… Also a member of the third-place 4x400m team (3:16.73) at the Carolina’s Cup... Posted a personal-best time of 51.47 in the 400m at the Big South Indoor Championships. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Recipient of the Norman G. Lineburg Scholarship… Named Best Overall Athlete in the Floyd Invitational and in the All American Relays… Set the 4x400m state record during senior year en route to championship status… Holds school records in the 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x400m… Finished third in the 400m and fourth in the 200 at state during junior year… Member of the first-team all-state 4x100m relay team during sophomore year… Three-sport athlete in track, football and wrestling.
