RADFORD, Va. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Tuesday that seven Radford Track & Field athletes have been named to the Academic All-District team for success in the classroom and on the track for the 2025-26 season. To become eligible to earn the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and compete in a majority of the program's contests. They must also have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Only about three percent of student-athletes at the Division I level are eligible to earn the award.
As one of the team's distance runners, Campbell competed in the 3,000m and steeplechase events. She took sixth place in the Big South steeplechase with a personal-best time of 11:14.41. Returning from injury in the outdoor season, Fields set PRs in the 3,000m, 5,000m, and 10,000m to end the season. Her highlight was a fourth-place finish in the 10,000m at the Big South Outdoor Championships with a time of 36:40.76. She also took a second-place result in the 3,000m at the Davidson Relays. Fields received honors on the Big South All-Academic Team for the outdoor season. The junior from Yorktown, Va., had a 3.99 GPA this semester as a Geospatial Science major.
Wrapping up her senior season, McIvor did a little bit of everything as the Highlanders' heptathlete at the Big South Outdoor Championships. She took home sixth place with a career-high 4,280 points. Throughout the season, McIvor set PRs in the 300m, 500m, 800m, high jump, and javelin throw. She graduated with an MBA this spring and boasted a 4.0 GPA.
As the lead hurdler for the Highlanders, Robinson finished third in the All-Big South honors in the 400m hurdles. She also was a key part of Radford's 4x400 relay squad which took second place (3:42.84) in the outdoor conference meet. The senior also set an indoor personal best in the conference meet with an 8.69 second 60m hurdles to take fourth place. The Roanoke, Va., native graduated from Radford this spring with a degree in Biology, boasting a 3.86 GPA.
Joining the team in men's track return, Alexis specialized in the jumps.
