MEN'S RESULTSÂ |Â WOMEN'S RESULTS
EARLYSVILLE, Va. – The Radford men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Friday afternoon at Panorama Farms. The event, hosted by the University of Virginia, featured 35 men's teams and 38 women's teams. The Highlander men and women finished 30th and 35th, respectively.

Leading the women's squad once again was Teresa Williamson, who crossed the line in 81st. The junior ran the 6K course in 22:15.9 to post the only top-100 finish for either of Radford's teams.

The next finisher was Courtney Rice, who posted a 24:07.7 to place 214th. Katie Hickey was next in 231st place, running a 24:39.9. Emily Marshall was 235th with her 24:43.0, and Madeline Thomas ran a 24:58.0 to take 237th. Courtney Burton and Malina Richardson rounded out the scoring for the Highlanders, concluding the race in 244th and 245th, running times of 25:13.0 and 25:14.1, respectively.

Virginia took the team title with 57 points, and William & Mary finished second with 69 points. Emily Stites of William & Mary was the individual champion with a time of 19:57.5, and Cally Macumber of the University of Kentucky took the runner-up position in a time of 20.07.9.

On the men's side, Radford was led by Ryan Farnan, who placed 113th by running the 10K course in 31:35.4. The next finisher was Chris Weeks, who ran a 32:39.4 to take the 166th spot, followed closely by Chaz Porter in the 187th position with a time of 33:12.7. Senior Joey Hannah finished in 198th with a time of 33:30.1, while Daniel Moniak placed 201st in 33:34.7. Rounding out the scorers for the Highlanders was Alan Weaver, who completed the course in 34.21.9 to finish 215th.

Eastern Kentucky earned the first-place team position on the men's side with 58 points, followed by UVa, which attained 96 points. Paul Chelimo of UNC Greensboro won the individual crown in a time of 28:37.3. Andrew Colley of NC State was right on his heels to take second place in a time of 28:38.7.
