For only the second time in program history, the Radford men's basketball team travels to the Golden State to begin a four-game West Coast swing as part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. The Highlanders face Santa Clara on Monday at 10:00 p.m. (ET) to open the tournament before heading to Vegas next week.
SERIES NOTES
• This will be the first meeting all-time between Radford and Santa Clara.
• Radford is 0-2 playing in the state of California (0-1 at St. Mary's; 0-1 vs. UC-Davis). Those two games are the only time the Highlanders have played a school from the state of California in their history. Both games were played in Moraga, Calif.
• Radford is 0-1 all-time vs. current members of the West Coast Conference (L at St. Mary's in 2004-05 season).

• Each Radford men's basketball game can be heard live in the New River Valley on the RU Sports Radio Network on the campus flagship, WRVU 89.9-FM and on the commercial affiliate, SuperSports 101.7-FM. Rick Watson handles the play-by-play for the Highlanders.

• Santa Clara currently stands at 3-5 on the season with a game pending Saturday against La Sierra College prior to playing the Highlanders on Monday.
• The Broncos are 2-2 at home this season with wins over Bethesda and San Jose State. The losses came to North Dakota State and Rice.
• SC has dropped 4 of its last 5 games heading into the home matchup with La Sierra.
• Brandon Clark leads the team in scoring (16.9), assists (3.5), and steals (1.1).
