RADFORD, Va. – Radford track and field will be showcasing its talent in three destinations this weekend as the Highlanders head to Raleigh, N.C. (Raleigh Relays), Rock Hill, S.C. (Winthrop Invitational) and Austin, Texas (Texas Relays).

Looking to continue its strong showing thus far in the outdoor season, the distance crew will compete at the Raleigh Relays. Courtney Burton and Courtney Rice gets things going in the women's 3,000-meter section C steeplechase at 8:30 a.m. Friday will be a marathon day for RU as action lasts until 9:12 p.m. when Teresa Williamson runs in the 5,000-meter section B race. Ryan Farnan kicks off Saturday's action at 10:25 a.m. in the 10,000-meter section B run.

Representing Radford in the Lone Star State will be Vincent Wyatt. Coming off a record-setting performance at the Virginia Cup, the junior will be challenged against the nation's elite at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Five of the nation's Top 10 110-meter hurdlers will be in Austin. In all, 58 competitors are signed up for the event, which begins at 10:35 a.m. (ET). If Wyatt advances to Saturday's finals, he would run at 3:35 p.m. (ET). The Longhorn Network is set to broadcast the final day from 2:30-6:30 p.m. (ET).

The remaining Highlanders will compete in the Winthrop Invitational at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Complex, which is the venue for the upcoming Big South outdoor track and field championships (April 17-19).

VIRGINIA CUP RECAP
Vincent Wyatt's gold-medal time of 13.72 in the 110-meter hurdles shaved 0.6 of a second off the Big South record and 0.7 of a second off his PR and previous program record. In addition to his seventh victory of the track season, Wyatt tied Jordan Moore of TCU for the top time in the nation. Since then, Aleec Harris of Southern Cal has lowered the top standard to 13.55.

On the women's side, Teresa Williamson broke the school record in the 1,500 meters by nearly seven seconds, setting the time at 4:32.43.

Radford has the top time in three events per Big South rankings entering this weekend. Below are the individuals garnering first place:
