- In its first game back from the Thanksgiving holiday, Radford will look to even its record with a win Saturday against Lees-McRae inside the Dedmon Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

- Between RU (10) and Lees-McRae (13), there will be 23 underclassmen set to take the court.

- Record: 1-2
- Radford dropped a 54-53 heartbreaker to Youngstown State in its last time out. The Highlanders could not overcome 21 personal fouls, which YSU converted into 18 points.
- Janayla White is tied for 13th in the Big South in scoring at 11.3 ppg.
- Aisha Foy is right behind with her 11 ppg. She had a season-high 15-point performance at NC State last week.
- Alexis Jackson, a freshman from Severn, Md., dropped in a season-high 15 points at Youngstown State to earn Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
- Jayda Worthy ranks second in the league in field goal percentage (.647).
- Lydia Rivers and Worthy rank third and fifth, respectively, among Big South players in blocks per game.
- Jen Falconer records the second-most minutes per game in the conference at 36.0.
SCOUTING LEES-McRAE
- Record: 0-5
- The Bobcats have struggled in the early going and are still in search of their first win of the season.
- LMC is playing Saturday's game as an exhibition.
- Markia Stacey is the Bobcats' top scorer at 10.6 points per game. She also dishes out 4.4 assists per game.
- Lees-McRae had lost by at least 15 points in its four games prior to Tuesday's four-point setback to Conference Carolinas foe Mount Olive.
- LMC has fallen in 16 of its last 17 games, dating back to last season.
- Among those losses was a 61-40 defeat at Tusculum. Radford's Fran Recchia served as an assistant coach at Tusculum for the 2012-13 season, guiding the Pioneers to the South Atlantic Conference championship game.
- The Bobcats were predicted to finish ninth out of 10 teams in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll.
UP NEXT
- Radford hosts Davidson for its Education Day on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 11:30 a.m.
- It will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two programs and first since Dec. 22, 2011.
