- After completing a three-game road trip with a victory over Penn State last Tuesday, the Radford men's basketball is set for just its second home game of the season Monday night as it plays host to James Madison.
- Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside the Dedmon Center and it is the first of three Radford home games against in-state teams over the next 10 days.
- Series: James Madison leads, 10-2.
- Last meeting: James Madison 74, Radford 71 (Nov. 17, 2014)
- The Dukes have won six straight meetings, including last year when it hit a 3-pointer in the closing seconds to edge the Highlanders at home.
- Radford is 1-4 at home in the series, with its last victory coming on a 69-67 decision in 1999.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
- Record: 4-2
- Radford is coming off consecutive victories for the first time this season.
- The win at Penn State last Tuesday gave the Highlanders four wins over power conference teams in the last three seasons and two this year. RU is now 4-1 in its last five outings against opponents from power conferences, defeating teams from the ACC (Virginia Tech), Big 10 (Penn State), Big East (Georgetown) and Pac-12 (Oregon State)
- Rashun Davis leads the Big South with 6.5 assists per game, while scoring a team-high 15.2 points per contest.
- YaYa Anderson is now on the verge of reaching 1,000 points for his career, needing only nine more to hit the milestone.
- With his season-best 23-point performance against Penn State, Cameron Jones upped his average to 12.7 per game. He hit 5 of 7 3-pointers in that win and is now at 42 percent for the season.
- Ed Polite now has four straight double-figure scoring games and is averaging 9.7 so far in his freshman season. Polite also shares the team-lead with 5.5 rebounds per contest, including 20 offensive boards, tied for most in the Big South.
- Fellow freshman Darius Bolstad is shooting a remarkable 92 percent from the floor, making 12 of his 13 field-goal attempts. His only miss came in the second half of the win against Catawba.
- Radford's 12 made 3-pointers in the win over Penn State were its most since hitting 13 against Liberty last January 24.
- The Highlanders' 56-percent shooting against the Nittany Lions was their best as a team since hitting 56 percent against Presbyterian last January 10.
SCOUTING JAMES MADISON
- Record: 4-3
- Like Radford, James Madison has posted back-to-back wins for the first time, with the most recent coming Friday with an 89-75 victory at Marshall.
- The Dukes return all five starters from last year's team that shared the CAA regular-season title. They opened the season with a 12-point win at Richmond.
- Four players average 12 or 13 points per game, led by senior guard Ron Curry at 13.6, who also has a team-high 3.9 assists per contest. Curry was an All-CAA second team selection last year and a first-team pick in the preseason this year.
- Junior college transfer Shakir Brown has made an immediate impact, averaging 13.3 points per game, including outings of 20, 21 and 25 against Richmond, West Virginia and Marshall, respectively.
- Brown also leads the team with 7.4 rebounds per game and has hit 16 of 31 3-point attempts.
- Dimitrije Cabarkapa averages 12.4 points per game off the bench, while Yohanny Dalembert contributes 12.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest.
- As a team, James Madison is averaging 79.7 points a game, while allowing 74.7. The Dukes are shooting 48 percent from the field.
