ROCKERS DANCE TEAM & CHEERLEADERS TURN IN HISTORIC PERFORMANCES

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. ---- The Radford University Rockers Dance Team and Cheerleaders notched top-15 performances in Daytona Beach, Fla., last weekend at the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Nationals for the first time in program history.
Competing against several Division I teams, the dance team finished in sixth overall, while the cheerleaders turned in a 12th-place performance.
The two teams traveled to Daytona Beach on April 9 to compete in the prelims, with both teams successfully progressing directly to the finals for the first time in the spirit program's history.
The historic run was a fitting end to a great season season, and both teams eager to return next year.
