HOW IT HAPPENED
- DePaul erased four Radford match points in the fourth set to come from behind and earn a 3-2 non-conference volleyball win Friday afternoon in the Georgia State Invitational.
- A 5-0 run midway through the second stanza keyed the Highlanders' 25-17 victory to even the match at one set apiece.
- RU built a 17-8 lead in the third set on the strength of a 7-0 run.
- The Highlanders led 24-20 in the fourth set before DePaul stormed back thanks to a 6-0 run.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Megan Short unleashed a career-high 19 kills at a .485 attack clip. She added three blocks.
- Maddie Palmer delivered her seventh straight (10th career) double-double behind 16 kills and 13 digs.
- Savanna Burton was the third Highlander to reach double-figure kills with 13.
- Valerie Gonzalez finished with nine kills and a team-high four blocks.
- Haley Kleespies recorded her fourth double-double of the season behind 52 assists and a season-high 14 digs.
- Kelby Jackson notched a team-high 17 digs to climb to sixth place in program history for career digs (907).
- Radford was extended to a fifth set for the third time this season.
- Brittany Maxwell and Caitlyn Coffey terminated 17 and 15 kills, respectively, for the Blue Demons.
- DePaul stretched its winning streak to six straight matches.
