- Radford ventures to Norfolk State for its only mid-week match of the season, Tuesday at 5 p.m.
- RU last met the Spartans in 2010 when the Highlanders prevailed, 3-0, at home.
- This is the third all-time meeting between the two programs. Radford has yet to drop a set to NSU.

- Record: 5-4
- Radford is riding a two-match winning streak after victories over Georgia State and Grambling State in Atlanta, Ga., over the weekend.
- Megan Short and Maddie Palmer earned all-tournament honors by guiding the Highlanders to a 2-1 record at the Georgia State Invitational.
- Palmer continues to lead Radford and the Big South in kills (164), kills per set (4.32), points (177.5) and points per set (4.67).
- RU ranks second in kills per set (13.16) among Big South programs.
- Haley Kleespies is the conference leader in assists (382) and assists per set (10.91).
- Following the Highlanders' last tournament, Kelby Jackson moved up to sixth place in career digs (949).
- She is on pace to become the fifth Highlander to reach 1,000 career digs during the rally scoring era.

- Series: Radford leads, 2-0
- The Spartans earned their first win of the season Saturday against Alabama State, 3-2.
- They have been involved in three five-set matches so far.
- RU will be Norfolk State's third Big South opponent of the season. Gardner-Webb and Campbell defeated the Spartans, 3-1 and 3-0, respectively.
- Angie Darcus tops the offensive charts for NSU with 103 kills, while Darcy Moore engineers the offense with her 7.23 assists per set.
- Alex Irizarry anchors the defense with her 115 digs (3.29 per set).

- Radford competes in its final tournament of the season, the Blue/Gold Challenge, hosted by Toledo, Sept. 18-19.
