- Radford saw its 15-match home winning streak come to an end last Friday in a 3-1 setback to Liberty in both teams' Big South opener.
- Maddie Palmer continues to lead Radford and the Big South in kills (246), kills per set (4.32), points (265.5) and points per set (4.66).
- Palmer ranks 25th in the nation in kills per set.
- Megan Short ranks third in the Big South in hitting percentage (.363) and fifth in kills per set (2.93).

- The Bulldogs opened league play with a 3-1 triumph over Gardner-Webb last Friday at home.
- They have won seven of their past nine outings.
- Asheville is one of the more experience teams in the Big South. Twelve Bulldogs return from last year's contingent.
- UNCA ranks second in the Big South in blocks per set (2.37).

- The Runnin' Bulldogs are the Big South's most lethal serving team at 1.65 aces per set.
- Led by Anna Pashkova, Gardner-Webb ranks third in digs per set (16.42).
- Pashkova became the fifth player in Big South volleyball history to record 2,000 career digs in the 3-1 loss to UNC Asheville last Friday.
