FARMVILLE, Va. – Five different players scored for Radford in a 21-7 road loss to Longwood as part of Wednesday's Big South women's lacrosse action.
 
Adrian Rius notched her fourth straight game of at least three goals, leading the Highlanders with three markers. She also added three draw controls.
 
Emma Rogers, Callie Bonnel, Gracie Peterson and Juliette Ruland also found the back of the net during the in-state battle.
 
Katie McHugh paced seven Lancers in the scoring column with a game-high six goals. She assisted on seven other tallies to contribute a game-high 13 points. Shiloh McKenzie reeled in 10 draw controls for the home side.
 
Longwood outshot the Highlanders, 32-15, and earned a 20-9 advantage in draw controls. Both teams were successful in clear attempts, with Radford going 10 for 10.
 
RU remains on the road for Saturday's 7 p.m. tilt at High Point.
