SETTING THE STAGE
The Highlanders have taken time to rest and regroup since tackling their biggest challenge of the year at the Big South Championships. Both the men's and women's squads came away with a fifth-place finish while senior Carrie Keevey placed fourth in the women's 5K to earn All-Big South honors.
Now, the top six men and women from the Big South Championships will put a cap on the 2017 season by representing Radford at the 2017 NCAA Southeast Regionals. Hosted by the University of Virginia, teams from all over the Southeast region will converge on Panorama Farms.
As difficult as the competition is in the Big South, the Highlanders will have the opportunity to race against some of the nation's top cross country programs on Friday.
