SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Radford women's golf team begins play at the Fifth Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, which starts on Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and ends on Tuesday.
Led by Khushboo Thiagaraj, the Radford women's golf team is coming off one of the top finishes of the season. Thiagaraj finished tied for 14th in the Benbow Invitational, the best of any Highlander.
Morgan Cox and Kasidy Beckel made tremendous turnarounds in the final day of the Benbow Invitational and finished a combined 29 strokes better than in the first day. Cox moved up 16 spots in the leaderboard and finished tied for 25th, while Beckel moved up seven spots to finish tied for 41.
The Highlanders will be the only Big South team competing in the tournament.
