SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Radford women's golf team showed steady improvement following each day of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate and finished in sixth place on Tuesday at the Highlands Course at Sevierville Golf Club.
Radford finished four strokes better than in round two and shot a 313 for the day. The team finished with a 964 in the tournament. Khushboo Thiagaraj led the way with a 231 finish, which was good for a tie in 11th place in the individual leaderboard.
Morgan Cox and Meagan Board finished the final round with a 5-over (76), which was the best finish by any Highlander of the day. Cox finished the tournament with a 238 and Board finished with a 239.
Olivia Jay finished in 40th place after carding an 16-over (87), while Kasidy Beckel finished 42nd after shooting a 12-over (83). Beckel's best round came on the final day of play.
