WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's golf team is currently in 21st following two rounds of play of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate on Monday at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
The Highlanders shot 326 as a team in the first round and went par for course in the second posting the same score. Megan Board shot four-over (76) in the first round, which was the best of any Highladner, and was tied for 27th in the individual leaderboard. Khushboo Thiagaraj followed that up with a four-over (76) of her own in the second round, the best of any player in the round.
Thiagaraj is the top Radford player with a 16-over (160) after two rounds of play and is tied for 73rd place. Board is a few spots behind with an 18-over (162) and is tied for 87th place.
Radford is in front of St. Francis (Pa.) by 15 strokes and is only behind Central Connecticut by six strokes.
