RADFORD, Va. – The Highlanders hit the road once again and travel to Boiling Springs, N.C., for a Big South showdown with Gardner-Webb on Friday night. First serve is set to begin at 7 p.m.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
•  The Highlanders (11-1) began Big South play with a 3-1 victory at Winthrop.
• Maddie Palmer recorded 13 kills and 14 digs against the Eagles, for her eighth double-double of the season.
• Palmer and Valerie Gonzalez are the two Highlanders in the 100-plus kill club as Palmer leads the team with 173 and Gonzalez is second with 108.
• Haley Kleespies already has 413 assists this season and is averaging just under nine per set. Both lead the team.
• Kleespies also leads the squad with 20 service aces.
• Defensively, Palmer has a team-high 145 digs and is averaging 3.15 digs per set. Alyssa Carruth is second on the team with 134 averaging 2.91 per set.
• Freshman Maci Keaton leads the team with 36 total blocks is averaging just under one block per set.

• Series: Radford leads 15-4 (Last Meeting: November 21, 2016 | W, 3-0)
• Gardner-Webb (6-7) has lost two straight including a four-set loss to UNC Asheville on Tuesday.
• Prior to the two-match loss, the Runnin' Bulldogs won four straight including a three match win at the ECU Classic.
• Kaelyn Dyson leads the team with 120 kills and is hitting .349, which is also a team high.
•  Gardner-Webb has recorded 119 total blocks with Keira Moore leading the charge averaging 1.31 blocks per set and totaling 63.
• The Runnin' Bulldogs have posted a 1-3 record at home this season.
