WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Radford dropped its second extra-inning affair of the season as the Highlanders fell 3-2 to William & Mary on Wednesday evening as the Tribe battled back for a two-out walk-off double in the 10th inning.

Knotted at two after nine innings, Radford put its first two runners on base as Colby Higgerson led off with a single and Kyle Butler followed with a walk. The two runners moved up on a wild pitch with no outs. The Highlanders were unable to plate the go-ahead run, striking out three consecutive times.

The Tribe put two runners on early for themselves with a pair of singles to start the bottom half of the inning. Following a ground out and strikeout, Hunter Smith ripped a double into the right-center field gap to give the Tribe their fourth win on the season.

Before the 10th inning walk-off, William & Mary's first two runs came on a pair of home runs from Smith in the first and Colin Lipke in the seventh. The Lipke home run knotted the game at two.

Radford's first run of the game came in the second as Spencer Horwitz led off with a single and came around to score on an Andrew Szamski RBI double. Garrett Matheny gave Radford a 2-1 lead in the seventh on a single down the left field line.

In his first collegiate start, Ryan Bywaters allowed only two hits in five innings, yielding only one run.
