RADFORD QUICKLY DISPATCHES GEORGE MASON

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Radford took down it's second straight opponent at Spring Tennisfest Wednesday afternoon to the tune of a 4-0 final score with the Highlanders now outscoring their opponents 11-0 so far during their spring break trip.

In doubles play the Highlanders showed dominance quickly with Anastasia Belyaeva and Jeanine Acierto taking down their opponent 6-1 on court three. Malin Falk and Alexis Cramer added another win for the week with a 6-2 win on court to clinch the doubles point. Tyler Blalock and Drousile Dzeubou were up 4-3 on court one but didn't finish as the point had already been clinched.

The Highlanders didn't miss a step going into singles play as Falk won easily 6-1, 6-4 on court three. Dzeubou won 6-2, 6-4 on court two with Blalock clinching and ending the match for the Highlanders with a 6-4, 5-7, 10-4 win on court four.

Cramer was up 2-1 in the first set of her game on court five, but with the win already sealed up for the Highlanders they didn't go any further.

NEXT UP
The Highlanders will move their focus to Norfolk State and Western Illinois, the last two matches listed for the team with both to be played Thursday at Spring Tennisfest.
