- Radford plays its first home game of the 2020 season on Tuesday afternoon when Norfolk State pays a visit to Williams Field at Carter Memorial Stadium.
- The Highlanders closed their 11-game road trip to open the season over the weekend, going 4-7 with a sweep of N.C. Central and a win at Georgia Southern.
- In Radford's win over Georgia Southern, the bullpen threw four perfect innings, as Austin Gerber and Bruce Hudson combined to allow no baserunners while striking out five.
- Anthony Galati has reached base safely in all 10 games he has played in. Galati also has a hit in six straight games.
- J.D. Mundy has the longest active hit streak on the team at seven games. Mundy has five multi-hit games this season.
- Mundy, the Big South Preseason Player of the Year, is also the Big South's most difficult hitter to strike out. The senior infielder has struck out just once in 43 at-bats this season.
- Straton Podaras has thrown out nine of 13 attempted base-stealers this season. Podaras' nine runners caught stealing leads the Big South by four.
- Bruce Hudson is tied for first in the Big South with three saves this season. Hudson's mark ranks 15th in the nation.
- Norfolk State enters the contest at 2-8 and has lost its last seven games. The Spartans have not won since opening weekend, when they took two of three from Wagner.
- Ty Hanchey leads the Spartans with a .429 batting average through 10 games. Defense has been an issue for NSU, however, as the Spartans have committed 25 errors. 25 of the 77 runs the Spartan pitching staff has allowed are unearned.

- Radford goalkeeper Maddie Bowman set a new career and program record for saves in a game at 20 against La Salle.
- The Highlanders will be seeking their second victory of the 2020 campaign, facing the familiar foe in Robert Morris.
- In Division I Radford is ranked 60th in caused turnovers per game, 87th in clear percentage, 81st in fouls per game, 23rd in ground balls per game, and 19th in save percentage.
- Cracking the top-100 in Division I lacrosse is Rachel Rogers at 87th in caused turnovers per game as well as Bowman at 69th in goals-against average, 21st in save percentage, second in saves, and fourth in saves per game.
- Robert Morris is currently on a three-game winning streak after dropping the season opener to Ohio State (8-13).
- The Colonials have downed their last three opponents by a margin of 47-19.
- Robert Morris was picked to finish third in the Northeast Conference preseason poll.

- Radford (11-3) will travel to Cary, N.C., for the third and fourth every meeting against North Carolina Central.
- The Highlanders are coming off a great weekend where they swept their competition at the Patriot Classic including wins against Delaware, Lafayette, and George Mason.
- The weekend was highlighted by the finale game against George Mason where Jessie Marvin gave the team its first no hitter since 2010 and first ever no hitter in a five inning game.
- The Radford offense put up 50 hits over the weekend tournament including 18 extra base hits. Hunter Mundy drove in a career-high six runs batted in against George Mason with the freshman Madison Canady tallying eight runs batted in the entire weekend to increase her team-leading total to 15.
- North Carolina Central has had a rough start to the season but picked up it's first win last weekend at the Red and Black Tournament hosted by Gardner-Webb. The Eagles have faced fellow Big South foes Gardner-Webb and USC Upstate three times this season and are 0-3 in those games.
- Junior Joirea Dumas leads North Carolina Central in batting average, hits and runs batted in.
- In the circle the Eagles normally throw two pitchers with Kiara Hurley accounting for the most innings pitched with 45.2.
