Radford Athletics Announces Restricted Attendance Events in Spring

RADFORD, Va. - Radford Athletics announced Tuesday afternoon that attendance restrictions for the 2021 spring season will be modified due to updated COVID-19 pandemic regulations. The affected sports from the modified restrictions include baseball and softball.
Radford Athletics has been working closely with the university, the Big South Conference, and the Virginia Department of Health to provide a safe environment for all competitions this season. The health and safety of the student-athletes, coaching staff, community and fans is the top priority.
In accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia, local health officials and university guidelines regarding in-person gatherings, Radford Athletics will now restrict attendance to a limited number of home and visiting team student-athlete and coaches' family members. Radford will continue to monitor the situation as we move forward, as we hope to allow general public fans as the spring season continues.
Fans can watch select Highlander games from home on the ESPN+ platform. Visit the schedule page weekly or daily to find out if any home or away events will be streamed. Fans can always keep up with events via live stats, which can also be found the schedule page.
