RADFORD, Va. – Winning each of its last three matches and seven of the final eight sets, the Radford volleyball team closed out the 2022-23 season with a 3-1 victory over Gardner-Webb at the Dedmon Center on Saturday.

The late-season streak brings Radford's final tally to 12-16 overall and 8-8 against Big South competition. Five-set wins against Big Ten team Rutgers and first-place Campbell were two huge highlights of the year.

Graduate student Grace Tulevech posted 13 kills, 16 points, and just one error in her final collegiate match.

Shelby Hernandez got down for a game-high 21 digs and scored three points on her own with service aces. Jefferson had 11 digs and two aces of her own.

Radford connected 48 assists on 52 kills, getting 23 from Jackeline Nerro and 19 from Fiona Baker. The duo of Tori Britton and Tulevech dominated above the net, combining for one solo block and 10 block assists.
