RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's basketball team makes a return trip to Hampton after earning a 54-51 win over the Pirates earlier this season.

SERIES HISTORY
Radford owns a 10-5 lead in the all-time series against Hampton, including a 6-1 record since the Pirates joined the Big South Conference. The Highlanders have won four straight games against HU.
 
The two sides have already gone head-to-head earlier this season, with Radford taking a 54-51 victory. Shaquan Jules had his best game of the year, posting an 11-point, 14-rebound double-double. Russell Dean paced the Pirates with a game-high 14 points.
 
In an unusual scheduling quirk, each of the last five games in this series has been played inside the Dedmon Center.
 
SCOUTING THE PIRATES
Since falling in a close game to the Highlanders back in January, Hampton has gone 3-5 with wins over High Point, Charleston Southern and Presbyterian. The Pirates' 3-8 Big South record has them tied with Radford for fifth in the conference's North Division standings.
 
Najee Garvin and Russell "Duece" Dean continued to be a two-headed monster, scoring 15.7 and 14.2 points per game, respectively. Garvin leads the team in rebounding with 6.0 per contest and Dajour Dickens ranks 20^th in the nation with 2.65 blocks per game.
 
As a team, Hampton excels in three-point defense. The Pirates have held opponents to 27.4% from beyond the arc, good for sixth in the entire country.
