Radford Falls 4-3 Against SIUE

ORLANDO, Fla. – Radford (7-6) fell in a tightly contested match Thursday morning to SIUE 4-3. Radford was also scheduled to play Seton Hall, but the game was canceled due to weather.
While SIUE was able to take the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, Radford was competitive on multiple singles courts to force the close match. SIUE picked up two singles courts first, though, giving them a 3-0 lead and forcing Radford into needing a big comeback.
Salma Loudili got that comeback started with another strong 6-0, 6-4 win on court one. Malin Falk was next to finish, winning in straight sets 6-0, 6-3. With the Highlanders still needing both courts to clinch a victory all attention turned to Emily Brandow and Camryn McClure.
Brandow came close to forcing a third set on court four, but came up just short 4-6, 5-7. McClure was able to take court five for the Highlanders, however, winning 6-2, 7-5.
