Highlanders Sweep Jaguars 7-0

ORLANDO, Fla. – Radford (8-4) cruised to victory over IUPUI Friday afternoon with a 7-0 sweep, their third sweep of the season.
Play began with doubles and Radford was able to secure all three courts. Guilherme Severin and Konstantinos Raptis were first to finish for Radford with a clean 6-0 victory on court two. Aditya Balsekar and Robert Hagen clinched the 1-0 lead with a 6-2 win on court three. Demis Taramonlis and Andres Silva wrapped up the trio of victorious courts, winning 6-3 on court one.
In singles play Radford was equally as dominant. Silva continued his dominant run with a 6-1, 6-1 win on court three. Raptis made it a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-2 win on court four. Taramonlis clinched the match in the Highlanders favor winning 6-1, 6-2 on the top flight.
Rounding out the victorious Highlanders were three singles wins by Radford. Hagen held on to win in a third set 6-0, 4-6, 1-0(6) on court six while Balsekar took court five in straight sets 6-0, 6-3. To wrap up the day Severin was the final Highlander to win, taking court two 7-5, 6-2.

The Highlanders hit the road for Clinton, S.C. to visit a former Big South foe in Coastal Carolina. The team will face South Carolina State on Saturday and Coastal Carolina on Sunday.
