RADFORD, Va. — The Radford baseball team fell to UNC Asheville 25-8 in game two of the series on Saturday afternoon at Carter Memorial Stadium.
Radford (13-25, 6-11 Big South) was paced offensively by center fielder
Cameron Pittman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs. Shortstop
David Bryant also contributed, hitting a three-run homer in the ninth inning, in addition to drawing three walks.
Justin Honeycutt (3-1) was the winning pitcher for UNC Asheville, who scored 10 runs in the first inning and never trailed.
Will Hunt (0-2) took the loss for the Highlanders.
UP NEXT
Radford will look to regroup as they try to salvage a game in the series on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
