CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Radford track & field program competed at the Virginia Grand Prix on Sunday at the campus of the University of Virginia.
Kelsey Arnold and
MegAnne Gilmore were the highlights of the day with personal records and a couple changes to the school history book.

Arnold notched PRs in the long jump and triple jump, including the seventh-best mark in school history in the triple. Arnold opened her day with a jump of 5.00m (16-5) in the long jump, good for an outdoor best. She followed that up soon after by leaping 11.28m (37-0.25) in the triple jump to enter the top 10 in school history in the event for the first time.

Gilmore closed out the day for the Highlanders with a personal record of 4:39.09 in the 1,500m, good for sixth in the school record book.

Julia Burkley also had an excellent run in the 400-meter hurdles, winning her heat with a time of 1:06.11.
