Balsekar Excels at M15 Futures Tournament

LUBBOCK, TEXAS – Rising junior Aditya Balsekar will bring home some huge personal victories after competing in the M15 Futures Tournament in Lubbock, Texas this past week.
Competing individually, Balsekar won his first round main draw singles match moving his current ATP singles ranking to 1,441. Balsekar also won his first round main draw doubles match to earn his first career ATP doubles point.
Balsekar has been one of Radford's top performers over his first two seasons with the team. In his freshman sping season he posted a 15-3 record on court six. In his sophomore season he moved up to court five and didn't miss a beat going 15-1 including a win over a nationally ranked N.C. State squad.
Balsekar and the Highlanders will be back in action in a couple weeks when the team heads to Charlottesville, Va. to compete in the ITA Regionals between October 19th and October 24th.
