It wouldn't stop there, as the Highlanders followed it up with another 10-1 run to take a 26-4 lead at the halfway point of the first.

With the blazing start, Radford took a 17-point lead (44-27) into the half.

It was a tightly contested finale, with the Monarchs getting as close at 56-50 with 9:51 left. For the second straight game however, the Highlanders responded and ended the contest on a 31-15 edge to seal the 12-point win.
