IT'S A HIGHLANDERS HOOPSGIVING CELEBRATION (FREE ADMISSION WITH FOOD DONATION!)
Thanksgiving time is almost here and Radford Athletics is celebrating by giving back to both the community and fans with a special Highlanders Hoopsgiving celebration, which kicks off with the men's game tonight. Fans can receive free admission to tonight's contest by simply bringing in three or more canned food items for donation. Each three canned food items will receive one free ticket to the game! For example, a family of four will receive free admission for all four family members with 12 canned food items! There is no limit on the number of free tickets a group receives for the contest either, as long as there are three canned food items for donation per person. All food donations will benefit the Highlander Pantry, Radford University's on-campus food pantry that is located in 215 Heth Hall. Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread, a free meals program serving the community of Radford and Virginia, will also be in attendance.

PARTY LIKE IT'S 2018
The Highlanders are off to their best start to a season in seven years as Radford is 3-1 through the team's first four games. It is the best start to a campaign since the Highlanders started the 2018-19 season on a 3-1 run, which led to a 6-1 record overall. The current squad will look to take another step to match that season's start with another win on Monday night.

WHAT 22 POINT LEAD?
The Radford men's basketball program posted one of the greatest comebacks in school history as the Highlanders erased a 22-point deficit to stun Evansville by a 92-81 margin inside the Ford Center on Saturday afternoon. After the Aces led by as many as 22 in the first half, and 18 at the break, Radford completely flipped the script in the second half with 60 points off an 81.5 percent clip from the field and a 72.7 percent mark from three.

EVERYBODY EATS
This Radford team has lived by the everybody eats mentality so far this year, getting contributions down the entire roster to start off the 2024-25 campaign. Depth will be the strength of the Highlanders this season and the team is showing it with an average of 33.25 bench points per game, a mark that ranks 53rd overall in all of NCAA Division I basketball and leads the Big South Conference.

SHOOT TO GET HOT, SHOOT TO STAY HOT
Radford has been shooting the ball at one of the best clips in the nation as the Highlanders enter Monday 48th in NCAA DI in free throw attempts per game (25.8), 56th in three point percentage (.391), 73rd in field goal percentage (.487), 77th in effective field goal percentage (.561) and 88th in free throws made per game (17.0).

MOSS AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
While it has been a total team effort so far this season, there is no doubting the impact that Jarvis Moss, a transfer from Davidson, has been making on the court for the Highlanders, especially when it comes to scoring the basketball. The Concord, North Carolina native went for 23 points against Old Dominion and a career-best 30 against Evansville, with 28 of his 30-piece coming in the second half in the comeback win. After the big week, Moss now leads the Big South in scoring at 21.0 points per game, a mark that sits 45th in all of NCAA DI basketball. Moss is also slotted in at 53rd in the nation in total points (84) to go with being ranked 34th in the country in made three's (14), 43rd in made three-pointers per game (3.50) and 72nd in made field goals (28).
