RADFORD, Va. – For the first time in over two weeks, the Radford men's basketball program dropped a game as the Highlanders suffered a 79-51 setback to Clemson in front of a crowd of 7,166 fans inside the Littlejohn Coliseum on Thursday night.
The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Radford, which is still on one of its best starts to a season in recent memory.
The Highlanders started strong and kept it to an eight-point contest (18-10) at the 10:22 mark of the opening half. Clemson would turn it on from that point on however, winning the opening 20 minutes 38-26 and the final frame by a 41-25 margin to close out the 79-51 victory.
Radford once again saw nine student-athletes with at least two points, the third straight game nine-plus Highlanders have contributed on the scoreboard. The depth was once again on display on Thursday night with 11 student-athletes checking into the game overall.

Zion Walker led the way with a team-high 10 points.

- Walker dropped his 10 points in an efficient manner as he went 5-of-9 from the field overall. It was the Burlington, North Carolina native's second straight 10-plus point game.
- The Highlanders had three student-athletes tied with nine points apiece in
Jarvis Moss (two rebounds),
David Early (three boards, one steal) and
Truth Harris (one swipe), respectively.

Brandon Maclin pulled down a team-best seven rebounds to go along with a game-high three steals and two assists. It was his third game of the year with seven-plus boards.

Isaiah Gaines also chipped in six rebounds and two steals.

Josiah Harris paced the Highlanders with one block to go with four points, four boards and a swipe.
- Radford held a 37-30 advantage in bench points and tied the Tigers with 11 second chance points.
