Highlanders Fall in Short Match at James Madison

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Radford men's tennis program fell 4-0 to James Madison Wednesday afternoon in a shortened match played to the clinching point.

In doubles play the Dukes got the early critical 1-0 advantage with victories on courts one and three. The Highlanders duo of Robert Hagen and Filippo Marangoni did come out victorious as the team won decisively 6-2.

In singles play, James Madison also got their wins on the top three flights for the 4-0 final. Two of those singles wins came due to injury retirement, however. Evan Edwards was up 5-3 in his first set before going unfinished.

Radford's next match is currently scheduled for this Friday, March 1st at home against BYU.
