Abrams Earns Top-Flight Win at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Radford women's tennis program fell in their match to a tough Clemson squad Friday afternoon 6-1 but got a big singles win from Julia Abrams on the top court.
Abrams earned the highlight victory of the day with her third win over a power opponent this season, all on court one. The junior came back after dropping her first set to win in a tiebreaker 3-6, 6-3, 1-0(2) on court one. Freshman Michaela Stephens also forced a tiebreaker in her match on court two, but came up just short 3-6, 6-4, 0(7)-1.
The Highlanders are right back in action tomorrow afternoon when they visit Davidson for a 2 p.m. first serve at the Wildcats.
