The Highlanders got off to a quick start thanks to freshman Dax Booth who would score his first career goal with a tap down the middle within the first five minutes of this conference match up. However, the Runnin' Bulldogs would respond with two goals in the first half to take a 2-1 lead before heading into the halftime break.
